World Rugby Sevens Series live on FBC- Fiji
Rugby is the most popular sports in Fiji and viewers are delighted to learn that Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) has acquired broadcast rights to World Rugby Sevens Series 2015-16 which is known as the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. The series will be played between 4 December, 2015 and 22 May, 2016.
This series is the 17th annual series of rugby union sevens’ tournaments for national rugby sevens teams. The Sevens Series has been run by World Rugby since 1999–2000.
“Looking at last year, we had a successful year,” said Vimlesh Sagar, Chief Financial Officer of FBC. “This year we have taken the initiative to bring the coverage live once again and this has been made possible by all the sponsors that came on board last year and assisted us to get the event live so once again we request all the sponsors to come forward and help us to achieve our objective.”
