NHK WORLD TV Targets International Tourists

Hokkaido, Japan’s large northern island, is proving to be a popular destination for international tourists. Recently, visitors have been streaming in from Asia, such as China, Singapore, and South Korea.

NHK WORLD TV is exploring the appeal of Hokkaido in 70 programmes. Tune in to experience the beauty of snow scenes, local traditions, food, and animals in the wild. All the programmes are scheduled to be broadcast in November 2015 and include:
