Media Equality Critical for Women’s Rights

The Global Alliance on Media and Gender (GAMAG) calls for gender equality in and through the media by 2030 in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

At GAMAG’s inaugural General Assembly in Geneva, stakeholders committed to making 2016 a year of unprecedented action on key priority areas which include digital media, youth, advocacy and gender and media research.
