ABU-RTM Capacity Building Workshop for BBS-Bhutan Producers

Eighteen staff members from BBS-Bhutan are presently attending a one-week long training workshop on ‘Storytelling’ in Kuala Lumpur, organised jointly by the ABU and RTM-Malaysia. The participants are mainly producers from both radio and television.

From 18-19 January, they will attend lectures given by experienced trainers from RTM-Malaysia and during the last three days of the workshop, they will be attached to the production department of the Malaysian national broadcaster.

The Bhutan Broadcasting Service-BBS is the public radio and television service of the Kingdom of Bhutan. It is fully funded by the State and it is currently the only service to offer both radio and television in the country.
