Channel NewsAsia to boost its digital presence

Mediacorp, the public broadcaster in Singapore, has appointed agencies to revamp the digital assets of its regional rolling news offering Channel NewsAsia (CNA).

As the digital landscape changes, Mediacorp is committed to delivering the news in the most relevant and compelling ways. The Singaporean public broadcaster is pleased to partner with two highly experienced agencies with great track records to achieve this goal. VML Qais Singapore and Aperto have been appointed following a tender process that Mediacorp says attracted digital marketing and design agencies from around the world.

The two companies take on a redesign brief to make the CNA user experience more personalised across different digital devices. The news channel is available on desktop, mobile web, apps on iOS and Android smartphones and Apple Watch. Its content reaches more than six million users a month, according to the media company.
