Entries now Open for ABU Prizes 2016

June 6 is the last date for ABU Members to send their entries for the ABU Prizes 2016. ABU Prizes recognise Quality and Innovation and every year the Award Ceremony takes place during the ABU General Assembly.

Members show a strong interest for these awards and last year there were 246 entries – 154 for television and 92 for radio in 13 categories. The awards honour radio and television stations, personalities and programs that exemplify innovation and excellence in broadcasting and commitment to community.

All ABU members are eligible to enter this international competition and all entries (except TV Sports category) must be broadcasted for the first time between June 1, 2015 and June 6, 2016.
