SBS-Korea brings new development to its broadcast systems

To provide continuous HD multi-channel recording and live monitoring of video, audio and real-time data sources from baseband and IP sources, Seoul Broadcasting System in Korea has chosen the Mediaproxy LogServer platform.

Mediaproxy’s Monwall multi-viewer will allow for data monitoring options including comprehensive Loudness analysis for SBS Seoul based facility.

Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) is a national South Korean television and radio network. It is the only private commercial broadcaster with wide regional network affiliates to operate in the country. It has provided terrestrial digital TV service in the ATSC format since 2001, and T-DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) service since 2005. Its flagship terrestrial television station is Channel 6 for digital and cable.

The system will be installed and supported by Mediaproxy’s local partner, BS Solutions.
