Channel NewsAsia launches the first televised trading challenge in the Asia-Pacific

Channel NewsAsia is unveiling the first televised trading challenge spanning across the Asia Pacific region called, Trading Talents Asia Pacific. The competition, organized in partnership with Saxo Capital Markets, is featured as a dynamic segment in the channel’s weekly business programme, Investor Insights, for six weeks starting from 29 June 2016.

Trading Talents Asia Pacific is the first financial trading competition of its kind in the region that allows those who dare to take on the challenge to compete with some of the most astute financial traders using “live” trading strategies on Saxo’s multi-asset trading platform. The competition is open to all residents in Asia Pacific, including professional and private traders.There will be four qualifying rounds starting from 5 April 2016.  

Twenty finalists will be shortlisted to battle it out, and be crowned the region’s top trader with a prize money of US$30,000 at stake. From call-to-entry to weekly competition results, the programme tracks the strategies and scores of these top 20 finalists week after week. The top two finalists will appear on the grand finale on Investor Insights on 3 August 2016 as they face the moment of truth.
