ABC-Australia promotes friendship and creativity among children

ABC Australia has set a premiere date of May 16 for its brand-new hybrid preschool series Hoot Hoot Go!, a spin-off of the network’s flagship property Giggle and Hoot. The series teaches children about teamwork and friendship through imaginative play and action.

Scheduled to air daily at 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., the 26 x five-minute, homegrown Australian series introduces a new best friend, Hootly, for owl stars Hoot and Hootabelle, and like Giggle and Hoot, incorporates live-action puppetry with CGI animation.

In her role as Owl Traffic Control on the Night Watch, curious orange owl Hootly is a guide, fixer and monitor for all of her new owl friends.

Featuring core values of teamwork, imaginative and inclusive play, friendship and positive problem solving, Hoot Hoot Go! follows the humorous everyday situations facing its key characters including familiar faces Pirate Hootbeard, Giggle Fangs, Hootaluna and Giggle Bot.
