59th ABU Sports Group Conference and Associated Meetings

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of ABU Sports in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it is my pleasure to invite you and your delegation to the 59th ABU Sports Group Conference to be held in Bali, Indonesia. The conference on the sidelines of the 53rd ABU General Assembly hosted by RRI Indonesia will take place from October 18 – 20, 2016. The ABU Sports Broadcast Rights Committee and the Sports Finance Committee Meeting will meet on 18th of October 2016. The Conference will be held on October 19 – 20, 2016.
For the up-coming gathering the ABU Sports will make its best efforts to bring an open and interesting forum for sharing experience and developing mutual cooperation between the members. We will also follow up and present the status of the ABU Sports initiatives that were endorsed by the members in the successive earlier conferences.
The online registration has been launched at the ABU website www.abu.org.my. I would like to draw your kind attention to the September 15, 2016 deadline for hotel bookings. After that, rooms are subject to availability and possibly at higher rates.
The agenda and working documents for the Sports Group Meeting will be circulated to you in due course by the ABU Sports Department. I look forward to welcoming you in Bali, Indonesia, a varied, vibrant, and utterly beautiful destination, and also a promising place for those who like to discover.
