Word Summit on Media for Children 2020 – Call For Tenders
The World Summit on Media for Children – WSMC is held every three years as a forum for producers, broadcasters and regulators of media for children and other professionals and community leaders.
After Malaysia in 2014, the summit will take place next year in Manchester, United Kingdom and will be hosted by BBC Children. Over 1,500 delegates coming from various parts of the world are expected to attend the summit from 4 to 7 December 2017. They will look at the role which media can play in the lives of a young global audience.
The organisers are presently working on the 2020 Summit. The World Summit on Media for Children is calling for tenders to host the Summit in 2020. Submissions should be sent to the Chair of the Foundation, Dr Patricia Edgar at triciaedgar@bigpond.com before the 30th June 2017 .
