VTV Vietnam and DOLBY team up on Hybrid Broadcast Broadband Television Platform

Dolby Laboratories, Inc. has announced the integration of the Dolby Audio™ experience on the Vietnam TV-Broadcast Research and Application Center (VTV-BRAC) Hybrid Broadcast Broadband Television (HbbTV) platform.

VTV-BRAC is the first in Southeast Asia to integrate the Dolby Audio experience on the HbbTV platform. With three current high-definition (HD) channels—VTV1 HD, VTV3 HD, and VTV6 HD—already equipped with Dolby Audio, Vietnam TV viewers will be able to enjoy the all-new HbbTV services with Dolby Audio with the touch of a red button found on remote controls of HbbTV-enabled devices.
