RTM-Malaysia to have more virtual radio programmes

Radio Television Malaysia, RTM Miri will continue to carry out many virtual radio programmes to popularise the radio station especially among the local community.

Its head of programme Dayang Fatimah Awang Lai said the radio-on-location programmes would incorporate other activities like entertainment and involving various agencies as well as villagers.

“Through the involvement of the locals and other government agencies, it is hoped that RTM will continue to be the preferred radio station for source of information and entertainment,” said Dayang Fatimah last week when met after the RTM Miri Maal Hijrah 1438H gathering held at the station’s auditorium.

Ustaz Sharafuddin Suaut from the Islamic Department (JAIS) Miri gave a talk on fine values at the gathering which was also attended by former staff of the radio station.
