Thai PBS acquires new Australian series
ABC Commercial has inked a package deal with Thai PBS, Thailand’s first digital HD broadcaster, for several kids’ shows, including Hoot Hoot Go! and Bobbie the Bear.
In addition to the 26×5-minute animated show Hoot Hoot Go! and the 10×3-minute series Bobbie the Bear, the package includes the live-action preschool program SplashDance. The sixth season of the live-action series Let’s Get Inventin’ is also part of the deal.
Additional titles headed to Thai PBS are the adult factual series Life in Ruins and Beneath New Zealand.
“We are delighted to take our content to Thai audiences, who will no doubt love our unique brand of children’s programming, and look forward to many more productive meetings with our Asian clients this year,” said Robyn Campbell, ABC Commercial’s senior sales manager for Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
