Registration Opens for the 3rd ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction

Registration is now opened for the 3rd ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction. It will be held 10 – 12 May 2017 in Dhaka, Bangladesh and hosted by Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar.

Under the theme Information for All: Media Saving Lives, over 200 representatives of media, academia, international organisations, government and not – government organisations will  discuss  strategies for Climate Change and Disaster Preparedness through media.  

On 11 May 2017 is the ABU Awards Gala Ceremony, which will honour the best Radio and Television programmes on climate change adaptation and disaster preparedness.
