2nd ABU Awards on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction
ABU is delighted to announce that we are now accepting submissions of radio and television programmes for the 2nd ABU Awards on Climate Change and DRR.
The competition aims to inspire content producers across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to cover the two most critical issues for the future of mankind – climate change and disasters. The Awards honour innovative and creative Radio and TV programmes, which inform and educate audiences on the best practices of climate change adaptation and disaster preparedness. The competition, which was launched last year, is run annually in conjunction to the ABU’s Media Summit on Climate Change and DRR.
The Gala – Awards Ceremony will be on 11th May 2017 during the 3rd ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and DRR, hosted by Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar.
