Seven Network – Australia to air Women’s Australian Football Final

The Seven Network broadcast the inaugural AFL Women’s competition live across Channel 7, 7mate and the PLUS7 app earlier this month. An AFLW match is being aired nationally every Saturday night.

Seven will also broadcast the AFLW Grand Final LIVE and exclusive on Saturday March 25, the first weekend of the men’s competition.

The debut of AFL Women’s comes 100 years after women played their first game of football. Seven also premiered League of Her Own, a documentary celebrating the rise of women’s football and sharing the struggles faced by women on their way to the big league. (C+T Mag)
