A colourful rally marked World Radio Day 2017 in Bangladesh
Public, private and community radio stations teamed up last Monday to celebrating the 6th World Radio Day in Bangladesh. The joint celebrations were led by the public broadcaster, Bangladesh Betar.
The programme consisted of a colourful rally, some discussions sessions and cultural shows.
The Honourable Minister of Information, Mr Hasanul Haq Inu, was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony of the activities in Betar Bhaban, Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
17 Community Radio Stations, 12 Medium wave stations, 35 FM station of Bangladesh Betar and 16 Private FM station observed the 6th World Radio day 2017 on 13 February 2016 in different parts of Bangladesh.
