TRT WORLD now available on Arabsat
Arabsat, the communications satellite operator in Saudi Arabia is linking up with Globecast, the global solutions provider, to launch TRT World in high definition on Arabsat’s Badr-6 satellite at 26o E.
Globecast will provide connectivity through its seamless fibre network and Paris NOC to enable the uplink of the TRT news platform (from Turkey) to the Badr-6 satellite of Arabsat. This will further contribute to the distribution of the channel over the Middle east and Northern African countries.
Khalid Balkheyour, President & CEO of Arabsat, said that: “This new HD channel will further grow our HD neighborhood and reinforce our HD dominance in MENA.
