Content Production and Evolving Media discussed at ABU CAMF in Tashkent

The third ABU Central Asia Media Forum (CAMF), themed “Sustained Growth in the Rapidly Changing Broadcast Environment”, was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 13-15 April 2017. The Forum was organised by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and hosted by the National Television and Radio Corporation of Uzbekistan (MTRK).

This event aimed to introduce advanced technologies, new media and address some of the main issues in content production that broadcasters are facing when they want to engage more audience in the new digital age.

Over 40 participants from twenty organisations including fourteen ABU members in sixteen countries took part in this Forum. The event started with a one day pre-conference workshop focused on Content Production; Evolving Media Content in a Multi-Platform Universe; Test and Monitoring for Broadcast Professionals; HbbTV technology and Integrated Digital Newsroom System. Day 2 was a full-day conference sessions, addressed various topics on advanced technologies, new media initiatives and security for online content.
