Child Rights Award for Television 2017 – Deadline for Entries 30 June

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) and UNICEF remind broadcasters and producers to submit entries before 30 June 2017.

The award is given each year to the best television programming on children’s rights from the Asia-Pacific region. It recognises the efforts of broadcasters and producers in pursuing high quality children’s programming and better coverage of children’s issues. Programmes both for and about children are eligible, and can cover any child rights issue.

Entries must have been broadcast between June 2016 and June 2017 and must be received by 30 June 2017. The award will be presented during the CASBAA Convention in early November 2017.
