AsiaSat Delivers Russian Channel RTR-Planeta Across Asia

Asia Satellite Telecommunications Company Limited (AsiaSat) and global media solutions provider, Globecast, have reached an agreement to deliver “RTR-Planeta Asia” to viewers across Asia.

An international service owned by the Russian state television and radio broadcaster VGTRK, RTR-Planeta Asia provides cultural and prime time news, sports, movies and documentary films. The new delivery agreement will see Globecast provide content management services while AsiaSat will deliver the channel via AsiaSat 5.
