Global News Forum Looks for Answers to Challenges Facing TV News
The third edition of the Global News Forum (GNF) in Singapore kicked off on 26th July with a keynote address by the Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information, and Health Mr. Chee Hong Tat.
Mr. Chee’s address was on the Future of Television News.The gathering, held over two days starting on 26 July, has attracted over 150 delegates from more than 40 countries. It is jointly organized by Mediacorp of Singapore and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).
Session 1 is a panel discussion on Responding to Disruption in the Media Landscape and Session 2 on Winning New Audiences.
The third panel discussion is on Transforming Television Newsrooms and the fourth on Media Ethics and Media Freedom.
Day two of the forum was a Masterclass on Creating Content for Millennials.
