ABU President meets Staff in Kuala Lumpur

The ABU President, Mr Ko Dae-young paid a visit last Wednesday at the ABU Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After a working session with the Secretary-General and the Directors, he met the whole Secretariat staff.

The Secretary-General Dr Javad Mottaghi briefed that with only 35 colleagues and with a limited budget, the ABU is serving over 270 members with over 100 major annual activities.

Mr Ko Dae-young who is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of KBS-Korea said that he fully understands the difficulty in serving members from  such diverse background but ABU has been able to find a way to help members from developing countries to narrow the gap between them.

The ABU President praised the work of the Secretariat and pledged the KBS support and expressed his sincere appreciation for the efforts and hard work of the Secretariat staff to serve ABU members for the benefit of their audiences.
