IRIB-Iran Documentary in the Most Prestigious Wild Life Festival

The most recent product of IRIB Jamejam TV Channel, the documentary “Park Ranger and Leopard” directed by Fathollah Amiri selected for final competition of Jackson Hole Wild Life Film Festival in the United States.

Jackson Hole festival, as the most prestigious event in the wild life, is held biennially in the Grand Teton national park in the American state of Wyoming. Grand Teton is the host of the best wild life documentaries and it is the first time that an Iranian film will be shown in the festival.

The word’s great documentary-makers including BBC Nature, Discovery, ZDF and National Geography always take part in the festival.

The documentary “Park Ranger and Leopard” which is one of ABU CARE 6 projects with the theme of “Love” will be shown in the “Human and Nature “section of the festival. Fathollah Amiri, the director, of “Park Ranger and Leopard” chose the love of Mr Halvani, a park ranger in Isfahan region of Iran, for nature and wild life as the central core of his documentary. The documentary has been selected from more than 600 submitted films.

The documentary “Park Ranger and Leopard” is about a park ranger who tries to track down a leopard in his protected area in spite of the fact that no leopards has been seen in this area for more than 40 year.
