Astro Radio – Malaysia launches two new brands for its 15.4 million weekly listeners

Astro Radio – Malaysia has announced the launch of two new brands – Zayan and goXUAN. Zayan, the first Malaysian radio brand for modern Muslims, aspires to serve this growing community by delivering music, content and dialogue that reverberates among them. Modern Malaysian Muslims can tune in to Zayan by downloading its mobile app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store soon. Zayan will also be available on the radio in Klang Valley (104.9FM), Alor Star (98.1FM), Ipoh (106.4FM), Malacca (98.9FM), Johor Bahru (92.8FM), and Kuantan (91.6FM).

goXUAN goes where the trendsetting Chinese Gen Z are making their mark. Unlike any other radio brand in Malaysia, goXUAN is visually-led. Astro Radio has built a state of art live broadcast studio from which the brand will stream live entertainment content via its digital platforms throughout the day. The goXUAN mobile app is available for download via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It is also available over the radio airwaves via 88.9FM in Klang Valley and 107.6FM in Penang.

Astro Radio’s digital fan base has also grown tremendously with 4.7 million Monthly Unique Website Visitors and over 14 million fans on social media. Astro Radio said: “Zayan and goXUAN are our latest brands for a new generation of listeners who are trendsetters and influencers in the digital and social media space. In August 2017 alone, over three million Malaysians tuned in to their favourite radio via streaming.
