China Radio International and Radio Pakistan launch Dosti Channel

China Radio International (CRI) in collaboration with Radio Pakistan, launched the transmission of Dosti Channel FM-98 last week by holding a colourful ceremony at Broadcasting House Radio Pakistan in Lahore.

The Channel will broadcast programs in Urdu, Chinese and English languages.

The Chinese Consul General in Lahore, Long Dingbin, the Director General Radio Pakistan Sheraz Latif, Director News & Current Affairs Javed Khan Jadoon and Chinese officials attended the ceremony. Addressing the ceremony, the Chinese Consul General termed transmission of this channel as a milestone in the Pak China friendship. He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor has begun a new era of strong mutual relations between the two countries.

In his address, the Director General of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Sheraz Latif said that China has boosted its cooperation in various sectors including broadcasting with Pakistan.
