Singapore Media Festival 2017 Celebrates Indonesia

A strong delegation of Indonesian media industry heavyweights, presenting a diverse showcase of television and film content, is currently in Singapore as the Singapore Media Festival 2017 (SMF) celebrates Indonesia as its Country-of-Focus.

Hosted by the Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), the Singapore Media Festival is Southeast Asia’s leading international media event, and its fourth edition opened on 23 November and will run till 3 December 2017. This year’s spotlight is on Indonesia threads across all SMF constituent events, including the Asian Television Awards (ATA), Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF), ScreenSingapore, Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF), and SMF Ignite.

More than 50 Indonesian companies and content buyers and sellers are participating in the Asia TV Forum and Market and ScreenSingapore. They include media and production houses like PT Indonesia Entertainment Group, MOX Digital Indonesia, and Transmedia Indonesia, as well as independent producers and filmmakers under the Indonesian Film Board (BPI), the Association of Indonesian Film Producers (APROFI), and Indonesian documentary filmmakers collective, In-Docs. (C+T Mag)
