Wishing our Members and Supporters a Happy and Prosperous 2018

On behalf of the ABU, its office-holders and Secretariat staff, I wish you all the very best at this special time of year. Traditionally, this is a time for looking back at our achievements over the past year and for looking forward to the year ahead. So for 2017, I thank you and your organisation for the support that you have rendered to ABU over what has been a very active and productive year.

We are grateful for your contribution and partnership and more importantly, for your friendship. 

For all broadcasters, there is nothing more important than serving one’s audiences and there is no asset more valued than public trust. Similarly, for members of the ABU Secretariat, there is nothing more gratifying than serving our members well and there is no gift more treasured than having our members’ trust.

 As we come to the end of a very active and eventful year, we are already looking forward to another busy, productive and lively year in 2018, with the addition of some exciting new initiatives that will be rolled out during the coming 12 months. Having the trust and support of our members gives us confidence that we can deliver them well and to the benefit of our industry and audiences across the Asia-Pacific.

So as we wrap up an action-packed and exciting year and shift our momentum into the next, together with all my hard-working colleagues at the Secretariat, I wish you, your families and friends, health, peace and prosperity now and in 2018.
