3rd ABU Awards on Climate Change & DRR
Deadline Extension for Entries – Please, submit your programs by 31st January 2018
ABU is happy to announce that the deadline for the 3rd ABU Awards on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction has been extended to Wednesday, 31st January 2018.
The competition is held in conjunction with the 4rd ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction (5 & 6 February 2018, Nadi, Fiji). The winners of the competition will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on 6 February 2018, Sheraton Fiji Resort, Nadi.

The ABU established the competition in 2014 to award the best efforts to address the climate change adaptation and disaster preparedness through creative and innovative programming. The competition has 4 awards – in 2 categories (2 for Radio and 2 for TV content) Additionally, there are two special awards for Best Human Story and Most Promising Young Producer.
