Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Cooperation in Mass Media

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan intend to have closer cooperation in mass media. Journalists of the two countries plan to create a road map of the information space. This was stated by the Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Yerik Utembayev during a meeting with the head of Uzbekistan’s national television and radio company. In return, the head of the Uzbek channel noted that the preparation of the relevant memorandums on cooperation with the Khabar Agency and the Kazakhstan channel is underway. Currently, there are 13 state TV and 4 radio channels in Uzbekistan.

The regional TV and radio companies that master the digital format are working in the regions.
