Mohd Nasir Is Media Prima Malaysia’s New Group Chairman

Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad has been appointed as Group Chairman of Media Prima Berhad’s board of directors.

In a statement, Media Prima said with Mohd Nasir’s new position, he will resign as the company’s Chairman of the Group’s Audit Committee, member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and board member of Synchrosound Studio Sdn Bhd.

He will however, be appointed as a member of the Risk Management Committee and will remain as the Chairman of Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad.

Mohd Nasir who joined the board on Feb 26, 2016 was previously the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and was appointed as Interim Group Chairman on May 21 this year.
