Mediacorp deploys Skyline monitoring for DVB-T2 network

Singapore broadcaster and digital TV transmission network operator Mediacorp has adopted Skyline Communications’ DataMiner platform to monitor its DVB-T2 transmission network.

The setup comprises more than 1,500 transmission and network elements, spread across more than 100 different locations. The managed broadcast equipment is sourced from many different vendors and includes distribution, transmission and monitoring products. In addition, the system provides full monitoring of facilities and environmental conditions, said Skyline Communications.
