Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Striving To Promote Music, Culture Of Pakistan

Director General Radio Pakistan Shafqat Jalil has said Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) was striving to promote music and culture of Pakistan. Mr Jalil has said PBC was striving to promote music and culture of Pakistan.

He said this while inaugurating musical event titled “Bolti Sham” at Pakistan Broadcasting House on Thursday.The DG said PBC is providing good music of all the regions of Pakistan in a clear, reliable, and consistent way.

For which, three new transmitters for Radio Pakistan’s Dhanak FM-94 channel will be installed in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad by the end of this month, he added.

Shafqat Jalil said Dhanak FM-94 was exclusively launched to promote all genre of Pakistani music and to get its market share in the industry to generate revenue for the organization.

He said this channel is broadcasting its programmes from Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

Famous singers presented national and folk songs at the event.
