Radio Romania celebrates its 90th anniversary

On this occasion, the President of Romania has rewarded Radio Romania with the Order of Cultural Merit – Commander Grade, as an acknowledgement of the institution’s major contribution in promoting and supporting Romanian cultural, moral and civilization values.

“I would like to thank you dear colleagues, for all your efforts, for the respect you always show to the word uttered at the microphone, for the vibration you transmit at every concert of the Romanian Radio Orchestras and Choirs, for the millions of visitors at the GAUDEAMUS International Book and Education Fairs, for all the cultural projects you create and for all the international projects that put Romania on the world media map”, said Georgica Severin, President General Manager, on the occasion of the Gala Dinner, held at the Diplomatic Club in Bucharest.
