Registration is now open for the 5th Edition of the ABU Media Summit on Climate Action and Disaster Preparedness

Hosted by the Government of Nepal and co-organised by ABU members Nepal TV and Radio Nepal, the event will be held on 25-26 April 2019.

The venue of the Summit is the Radisson Hotel Kathmandu, which will also be the venue for the Gala Awards Ceremony that will recognise the best programmes on climate action and disaster risk reduction. 

The Summit brings together world experts from government and non-government agencies, scientists and media experts for two days of discussions, exchange of ideas and good practices and developing joint projects. 

Under the theme “Media Solutions for Sustainable Future – Saving Lives, Building Resilient Communities” the Kathmandu Summit links  climate adaptation and DRR to sustainable development and promote media as a key partner for making them everyone’s business.
