The Vietnam women’s national team are the reigning champions at the VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup. The 2019 Vietnam Television (VTV) cup is taking place from August 3 to 10 in the central province of Quang Nam, with the participation of the Vietnam women’s national squad and six international invitees.

The aforementioned information was announced by the organising committee during a press conference in Hanoi.

Vietnam have been drawn to play Kazakhstan’s Altay Oskemen Club and Chinese Taipei University in Group A. Meanwhile, Group B consists of Japan’s NEC Red Rockets Club, China’s Fujian Club, and two teams from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Australia.

The participating teams will play in a round robin format to decide the two group winners, who will progress to the semifinals.
