Singers and performers from around Asia performed to an exuberant crowd of delegates and locals at NHK Hall, in central Tokyo. The program in its entirety showcased international musical acts representing ABU members, and ran for two hours.

The thousands in attendance were treated to songs sung in the languages of the performers, while translation into and from Japanese of questions and answers were given, from the artistes.

The showcase featured a performance by none other than Indian Grammy Award winning musician, A.R. Rahman.

Other artistes performing represented Kazakhstan, Turkey, Vietnam, Japan, China, Macau, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia and South Korea.
