The third edition of the ABU Media Summit on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction was held from 10-12 May 2017 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The meetings were hosted by our members Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television.

More than 270 delegates representing broadcasters, media organisations and other stakeholders from the region joined the two-day summit which addressed the theme “Information for All: Media Saving Lives”. The summit also adopted the Dhaka Declaration.

The next summit will take place in Nadi, Fiji, 5 – 7 February 2018 and will be hosted by the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation and Fiji Television.
