The 2019 DAB+ Digital Radio Broadcasting Workshop was held on 8-12 July in Kuala Lumpur. Engineering personnel from broadcasters and regulators in the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East joined the event.

Speakers from WorldDAB shared their academic expertise and experiences about DAB+ Digital Radio Ecosystem. The workshop covered topics such as system architecture, network planning, transmission systems, business cases, and receiver availability for the DAB+ digital radio system amongst others.

Over 25 participants from 12 countries representing 20 organisations attended the workshop.

The workshop was jointly organised by the ABU and ASBU with support from WorldDAB.
