ABU COPYRIGHT MEETING & SEMINAR
The rapid development of technology has created a regulatory imbalance in the broadcasting industry which exposes the intellectual property of the broadcasters to higher risk of piracy. Understanding, the challenges, the proliferation of delivery content brought to the protection of intellectual property and broadcasters’ signal, is a key to financial stability for broadcasters in the fast evolving media industry.

Helping the ABU members to stay abreast of the new threats in copyrights piracy and signal theft the 18th ABU Copyright Committee Meeting brings together prominent practitioners in the field to share ideas, experiences and strategies for intellectual property protection. The two-day meeting is followed by a one-day Seminar, which will feature presentations by experts, discussions and exchanges of copyright cases.
