A
new initiative that encourages co-production and collaboration between
Asian broadcasters and producers, based on the cooperation between the
ABU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication, Japan.

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION TO ALL ABU LIAISON OFFICERS (TV)

Dear Colleagues,

We are
pleased to invite your organisation to participate in our new initiative
1 Asia Project 2013. We would like to take this opportunity to express
our grateful thanks to our co-organizers DENTSU, Japan and BANG
PRODUCTIONS, Singapore. 

1 ASIA PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  • Generating sustainable relationships between broadcasters
  • Promoting cross-border transactions to increase sharing of Asian content
  • Creating opportunities for capacity building between countries with varying levels of know-how
  • Forging business networks within Asia in the spirit of building a single content market

Opportunity
to discover a variety of resources in the different regions of Japan by
working in collaboration with local companies and municipalities.

 The followings are to be observed for proposal submissions:

  • Compelling proposals from ABU Broadcasters showcasing Asia’s
    Synergy  to co-produce with  Japanese regional broadcasters and
    production companies, of any genre.
  • Proposal must contain cross-cultural themes promoting both ABU partner countries as well as Japan
  • Co-production assistance and subsidies will be offered
  • Only one submission per organization is allowed

From the
submitted entries, the best 5 proposals will be considered to co-produce
along with 5 regional Japanese broadcasters. For detailed information
