ABU CENTRAL ASIA MEDIA FORUM 2017 &
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & LEGAL COMMITTEE MEETING
13-14 APRIL 2017
TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN
We are happy to announce that the third ABU Central Asia Media Forum (CAMF2017) and the ABU Intellectual Property and Legal Committee (IPLC), will take place on 13th and 14th April 2017 at the Wyndham Tashkent Hotel, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The two events, which will run in parallel, will be hosted by our member MTRK in Uzbekistan.
Central Asia Media Forum 2017
The CAMF aims is to bring together media organisations from Central Asia to network and initiate mutual cooperation and collaboration in the media and broadcast space. The forum will serve as a platform to share knowledge and future strategies, discuss solutions and rapid developments taking place within the media industry in the region and around the globe. The Forum is attended by expert speakers and experienced media practitioners who will present and share their experiences in a wide range of topics related to content creation, distribution and role of media in this fast changing social environment.
Intellectual Property & Legal Committee [Ex- ABU Copyright Committee]
The IPLC is the Legal Department’s flagship committee and forum which deals with contemporary legal and broadcasting issues. The next IPLC is bound to be challenging with topics dealing with the rapid pace of development in the media technologies which is throwing many legal and complex challenges to broadcasters and aggregate content providers around the world.
