We are happy to announce that the ABU will be organising the next Central Asia Media Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan under the name “ABU 2015 TASHKENT FORUM”. The Forum will take place from the 23-24 July 2015 and will be hosted by our member NTRC of Uzbekistan.
The Forum aims to gather broadcasters and industry players in Central Asia and other media stakeholders around the region. The objective of the Forum is to bring together media organisations in and around this region to network and initiate mutual cooperation and collaboration in the media space. It also aims to support our members in Central Asia to build up capacities and to prepare themselves for the future and upcoming challenges.
The forum will serve as a platform to share knowledge and future strategies, discuss solutions and rapid developments taking place within the media industry in the region and around the globe. The Forum is attended by expert speakers and experienced media practitioners who will present and share their experiences in a wide range of topics related to content creation, distribution and role of media in this fast changing social environment.
