ABU Children’s Drama Co-Production is a co-production and exchange project with the theme of “Mental Growth”. The participating organisations through the producers would exchange ideas with each other and receive the guidance of the Executive Producer, as well as exchange their dramas at copyright-free on “Make One, Take All” basis.

There are 2 meetings involve for each series:

First Meeting – All producers from the participating organization of the previous series will screen their completed drama and exchange their broadcast materials with each other.The completed dramas will be forwarded to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

As for the new participating producers for the current series, they will share their story ideas to other participants and Executive Producer to get further input from them.

Second Meeting – A continuation of the first meeting, participating producers will present their updated story ideas as well as view and obtain children’s dramas from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) also at copyright-free.

Currently the Children’s Drama Co-Production is in its 16th Series with the theme of  “Mental Growth”

 

WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE

  • Obtain broadcast materials for other programmes from other ABU participants at rights-free.
  • Obtain broadcast materials for other programmes from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)  at rights-free.
  • Review and discuss your story ideas with other participants from various countries.
