ABU PREPARATORY WORKSHOP ON WRC-15
21-22 July 2014, Kuala Lumpur
We are pleased to inform you that the ABU Preparatory Workshop on WRC-15 will be held from 21 to 22 July, 2014, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This two day composite event will expose participants on the current status of WRC-15 Agenda Items, their implications and outcome of the preparatory meeting.
As WRC-15 decisions would be crucial to the sustenance of radio and television broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region, it would be highly advantageous for broadcasters and other spectrum agencies to make preparations to effectively participate in the studies leading to WRC-15. This ABU Preparatory Workshop will help in this process by enhancing the understanding of the issues and providing the current status of these with reference to regional development. The Workshop will also develop the ABU views on the selected WRC-15 agenda items.
We are delighted to invite you and your organisation to actively participate in the ABU Preparatory Workshop on WRC-15. Please nominate suitable participants for this workshop.
Please forward your nominations in the attached registration form. Early registration will be appreciated.
For your participants, your organisation will have to bear all the expenses. There is no participation fee for ABU members. Please copy this mail to all your colleagues who deal with spectrum matters and to those who may otherwise be interested, asking them to take similar action.
The workshop participants will be able to stay at the IPPTAR hostel facility at special concessional rate of MYR 80.00 net (approx. USD 25.00) per night and seminar package of MYR 35.00 (approx. USD 11.00) per day inclusive of breakfast, lunch and two tea breaks. As the number of rooms is limited, early registration is advisable.
Apart from senior executives dealing with spectrum in our members across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and North America, participants will include those from other segments of the industry in the region and some others. National spectrum regulators will also be invited to attend the event to enhance the value proposition.
