ITU Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellences Training

Interactive Multimedia Services and Pay TV

We are pleased to invite your organization to participate in a training on “Interactive Multimedia Services and Pay TV”, jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union, Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam and Viettel Group with support from the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.

This training has been developed as a part of the ICT application program within the framework of the ITU Centres of Excellence for the Asia-Pacific Region and will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is addressed to staffs from policymakers, regulators, corporate executives and managers, i.e. middle-level managers, administrators and officials dealing with Pay TV, IPTV, Interactive Multimedia Services, TV over Internet etc. The draft agenda of the training is attached (Annex 1) for your information. The details of the training will be updated and available at http://www.itu.int and http://academy.itu.int.

To register for the above-mentioned training, participants are kindly requested to complete the attached registration form (Annex 2) and accommodation reservation form (Annex 3), then send them by email directly to Mr. Tran Van Vui (vuitv@viettel.com.vn) with copy to Mr. Ashish Narayan (ashish.narayan@itu.int), by 15th Aug 2014 at the latest. The course is offered free of charge with support from Viettel Group. The travel arrangements, accommodation etc. should be made and borne by the participating administration or participants directly.

Those participants requiring an entry visa to Vietnam are requested to contact their local Embassy of Vietnam for information well in advance. For ease of reference, useful information for participants is attached in Annex 4.
