REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON
OTT and IBB HYBRID TECHNOLOGIES FOR BROADCASTERS

We are pleased to inform you that the ABU has organised a regional workshop on Over-The-Top (OTT) and Integrated Broadcast Broadband (IBB) Hybrid Technologies for broadcasters which will be of significant interest to all broadcasters in the region.
OTT and IBB Technologies can be looked as an opportunity for the broadcasters and many of them are moving towards these platforms. Implementing these technologies can help increase the broadcaster’s reach and at the same time provide an enhanced experience for the audience.
This three day workshop will introduce these technologies and address some of the main issues that broadcasters are facing when they want to introduce OTT and IBB services within their portfolio. It will not only explore the technology but also look at other value added services and business opportunities that they can introduce to attain a competitive edge in the market place.
INVITATION
We are delighted to invite colleagues involved in technical and production operations as well as others interested in OTT and IBB technologies, from your organisation, to participate in this workshop.
ACCOMODATION
The workshop will take place at Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur, and we have made arrangements for participants to stay here at the special rate of MYR 220.00 (approx. USD70.00) per night inclusive of breakfast.
There are no registration/participation fees for ABU members. Non-members will have to pay a registration fee of USD90.00 to cover meeting costs.
As the number of rooms is limited early booking is advised.

EXPENSES
All expenses on the travel and stay of your nominee (including registration fees where applicable) have to be provided by your organisation.
