As an ABU Associate Member, RAI, the Italian Public Service Broadcaster, has the honour to invite you to the 2^nd edition of the Forum ABU/RAI Days “TOWARDS A NEW ERA OF COLLABORATION: Fostering creativity and innovation in broadcasting” to be held in Venice on 28 – 29 March 2019.

The Conference will give the participants from around the world the opportunity to explore different pathways to move towards a new era of collaboration. Interactions between public service media, commercial actors and new online platforms has evolved throughout the years bringing both opportunities and challenges. In this multifaceted landscape, it is important for broadcasters to think outside the box and explore different solutions to ensure a bright future for quality media content. Thus, to thrive in this global and digitally convergent landscape, international coproduction, cross-industry collaboration and cooperation in technological innovation are pivotal. The goal of this event is to share best practices examples developed by broadcasters from around the world in order to learn about new ways of content production, successful formats of international coproduction and innovative experiments on new format that allow the audiences access to content anywhere and anytime.

We would be delighted if you would accept our invitation and due to the high tourist season in March in Venice we suggest to please register as soon as possible so that we can provide you with options for hotel accommodations at a conference rates.

Please note that some participants must obtain the Italian VISA before travelling, and that no VISA on arrival can be obtained, therefore, considering that it may take up to 90 days, please consult the list of the countries whose nationals must be in possession of VISAS before travelling to Italy:
