Course: Advanced TV & Film Production Skills

An in-person Regional Workshop to be run in Kuala Lumpur with AFTRS Guest Lecturers in conjunction with IPPTAR and ABU Media Academy.

AFTRS TV Production Skills, KL based Workshop, will be run from Thursday 10 November to Wednesday 16 November. Over the weekend of 12 and 13 November, participating teams will be creating content for the workshops held between Monday and Wednesday.

The Regional Workshop is for experienced TV production teams and aims to increase your creative and technical skills. The Workshop will also cover the latest trends in virtual production as well as new delivery and consumption trends. 

Participants for this in-person Regional Workshop are to have least 3 years working experience in television production and technical roles. The workshops are ideal for television production teams to undertake as a group. As a team, you will be undertaking a shared learning and working experience.

Any type of team combination is welcome to apply. Teams could be made up of producer, scriptwriter and camera person; reporter, camera and sound crew, or EP/SP, producer and editor, etc

Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera, sound and editing equipment, but if this is not possible, IPPTAR will provide equipment and operators as required.

Topics and lecturers for the remaining workshops will be announced in due course. They will cover creative and technical skills as well as latest trends in virtual production plus new delivery and consumption trends.
